About Greenshield – Building materials for a sustainable future

The first steps towards the development of Greenshield insulation products were taken during the implementation of construction projects in Iraq, where the climatic conditions were particularly challenging.

Based on the difficulties that arose with conventional systems due to the mixing of desert sand with washed aggregate and extreme heat, a new generation of products – Greenshield – was developed.

In the further course of development, the product was continuously optimized and further developed into an innovative, environmentally friendly and natural insulation solution, which also has fire protection, diffusion openness and water-repellent properties and can be used as a lightweight concrete product weighing only 1/5 of conventional concrete.

Glasberg's goal is to preserve the world as a livable place while simultaneously making living spaces healthier and more comfortable. The products are intended for use in as many buildings as possible worldwide, ensuring both current building quality and the protection of future generations.
