Greenshield Insulating Plaster

Mineral insulating plaster for interior and exterior applications

Product positioning:

Greenshield insulating plaster replaces the conventional topcoat within an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS).

It also provides additional thermal insulation properties and functionally complements the existing system – without changing the basic system structure.

That means:
➡ No replacement of the insulation panels
➡ No new system
➡ Instead, replace the conventional plaster with a functional insulating plaster.

Brief description:

Greenshield is a mineral, vapor-permeable insulating plaster with heat-insulating properties for indoor and outdoor use.

The product is suitable for new buildings, renovations, and restorations of listed buildings.

Greenshield replaces only the top coat of plaster

Integration in the ETICS

Greenshield insulating plaster is used within a thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) instead of the conventional topcoat plaster.

That means:
✔ No change to the insulation panels
✔ No new facade system
✔ Replacement of the outer plaster layer with a functional insulating plaster solution

Concrete, aerated concrete block, brick, plaster, stone and similar surfaces

Application

The surface must be clean, level and load-bearing.
Loose or brittle layers must be removed down to the solid substrate.

Mixing process:
Mix 12 kg of powder with 8–9 liters of clean water for 5–6 minutes until homogeneous.

Application:
Manually with a steel trowel or mechanically with a plastering machine.

Post-treatment:
Trowelling after 2-3 hours.
Final coating possible after 4-5 days.
Complete drying after 28 days.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place

  • Protect from sunlight

  • Shelf life of at least 12 months
